Katherine’s integrity as a Real Estate Agent is rooted in her creative background as a visual artist. As with artmaking, everything is considered; seemingly minor details may often be the most important. Buying or selling a home requires acute attention to detail, aptitude for clear communication with the client, and engagement with professionals across the industry. Katherine seeks out the nuances of communities and properties that create distinction. She has a deep appreciation of historic homes and notable architecture, influenced by both her upbringing in a home built in 1737 and later, from her experience working for a contemporary architectural photographer.
Born and raised in New Jersey, Katherine has lived in and navigated tight-knit neighborhoods in Philadelphia, New York, and Boston. She received her BA from the University of Vermont and her MFA in Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts in New York. Katherine was represented by prominent art galleries for over 15 years and her artwork is held in private, public, and corporate collections.
Katherine relocated to Los Angeles in 2011 and has lived in Eagle Rock with her husband and son since 2013. She launched into real estate soon after her son was born, and is currently an active volunteer and Board member of the Dahlia Heights PTA as well as an elected Board member of the Eagle Rock Neighborhood Council. Katherine also holds a Professional Certificate in Local Government & Community from Pepperdine University's Davenport Institute for Public Engagement and Civic Leadership. She is a member of the Pasadena Foothills Association of REALTORS®, the National Association of REALTORS®, and the California Association of REALTORS®. In her free time, she enjoys spending time at the beach with her family, painting and drawing in her home studio and tackling endless home improvement projects with her husband.
